Laguna Creek Beach, Santa Cruz.

Land acknowledgement: “The land on which we gather is the unceded territory of the Awaswas-speaking Uypi Tribe. How do I get to Laguna Creek Beach?

6098 Laguna Creek Beach, Santa Cruz. The tricky part: There are two Laguna Creek Roads on Highway 1. Turn off at the northernmost Laguna Creek Road. Park in the dirt parking lot. Go to the north part of the dirt parking lot and cross the highway to the beach. Be careful to look both ways!!! Follow the path about a quarter mile to the beach.

What does my contest entry fee cover?

Contest, taco bar and a t-shirt. You can bring a guest to the awards ceremony and taco bar for a mere $10 each.

When and where is the Awards Ceremony and Taco Bar?

5pm at 22800 E Cliff Dr. Santa Cruz, CA 95062

Can I bring something to the Taco Bar dinner?

Bring whatever you want to drink. Bring your family. Also, don’t forget to bring money for the raffle. The prizes are always killer.

Are there other events?

PRE-CONTEST ALOHA: The night before the contest from 6-8 pm at the Aloha Island Grille, 1700 Portola Drive, Santa Cruz. If you haven’t already signed up for the contest, Aloha Island Grille is a good place to do it. Please bring cash only. Exact change is very helpful.

SUNDAY MORNING FREESURF: Charge 1) hard, 2) tuff, and 3) sans remorse at the SCBSA Expression Session — 26th Avenue Beach, Santa Cruz. Park in the Moran Lagoon Parking Lot at 22775 E Cliff Drive, Santa Cruz.
