The Santa Cruz Bodysurfing Association was established in 1983 by a group of friends wishing to promote the incredible sport of bodysurfing to other friends. With safety and fun as the mascots of the association, the Santa Cruz Bodysurfing Association (SCBSA) is now one of the major contributors to the promotion, support, and development of the sport of bodysurfing.
